Miranda Lambert insisted on keeping her sprawling Oklahoma farm after she moved in with now-husband Blake Shelton, because the property serves as her retreat when the couple fight.

The country stars wed last year after dating for five years, but Lambert reveals they still relish their own space.

And if "The House That Built Me" hitmaker ever needs time out from her husband, she heads to her farm in Tishomingo, which is just 10 miles from Shelton's property where they mainly reside.

She tells W magazine, "We mostly live at Blake's, but if you're p**sed, 10 miles away is far enough. If we have a fight, I can say, 'Go home' or 'I'm going home.'"
