Barron Heating Takes It All: Ski To Sea 2012

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. -- The team from Barron Heating won it all for the second year in a row at the 2012 Ski to Sea Race after going neck and neck with team Aeromech throughout the day.

Barron Heating had an early lead in t he beginning of the race but Aeromech took the first place spot at the handoff to the running leg.

This continued back and forth until Barron Heating pulled ahead and finished just second before their fierce second place competitor.

Windy weather conditions shortened the kayak leg of the race, but the rest of the day was smooth sailing.

Check out KGMI’s photos from race day and our full-coverage podcasts here on the website.
