Cranky Kid Barred From Flight In Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- An airline is citing safety concerns for the decision to boot a cranky three-year-old Everett boy from one of its flights.

www.MyNorthwest.com reports the child and his dad were asked to leave the Alaska Airlines flight last weekend.

Dad Mark Yanchak admits the boy was being cranky as the flight was preparing for departure from Sea-Tac airport, but calls the decision an overreaction.

The pilot ordered the plane back to the gate and asked the dad and child to leave the aircraft.  Yanchak says he will decline the airline's offer to book the family on another flight.
