BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- KGMI has more information about a Bellingham man's connection in a big child pornography ring busted by federal authorities.
Twenty-eight-year-old Nicholas King was one of several people arrested in "operation bulldog."
Tim Horty, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in the southern district of Indiana, says the operation began when authorities discovered a trove of child pornography on a computer owned by a man in Bloomington, Indiana.
He says there's no indication that any of the pornography was produced in Bellingham.
King pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography, and is awaiting sentencing.
Horty says some of the victims were as young as two months old.
He says it's important for parents to be involved in the social networking activities of older children in order to protect them from child pornography rings like this one.
