NEAH BAY, Wash. (Metro) -- Part of a house found on a beach at Neah Bay may be the latest piece of Japanese tsunami debris to wash up on the West Coast of the U.S.
Peninsuladailynews.com reports the find came Sunday, when a group of kayakers, known as the Ikkatsu Expedition, reported finding the remnants of a house, including a bathroom, bathroom items, and other debris on the private beach on the Makah reservation.
Their report indicated that lumber from the wreckage has been traced to a mill in Osaka.
