BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- If you’ve ever been in an emergency situation and couldn’t remember what to do, you don’t have to worry because now there’s an app for that. The American Red Cross has developed an app for Apple and Android markets that puts free and simple lifesaving information into the hands of smart phone users. Marinda Peugh with the Mt. Baker chapter of the Red Cross says she believes everyone should have this app. The First Aid app gives step-by-step instructions and video tutorials on how to handle a variety of situations, along with safety and preparedness tips. Peugh stresses this is not a substitute for first aid training.
