OAK HARBOR, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The hunt is on for a man Island County Sheriff's deputies say tried to snatch an 8-year-old Oak Harbor girl from her front yard Sunday evening. 

The child was playing with a cousin, when the suspect pulled up in a late model dark red sedan, grabbed her and told her to get into his car. 

The girl broke away and ran to tell her mother. 

The suspect is white, 25 to 35 years old, about six-feet, with a goatee and dyed gray streaks in his hair. 

He was wearing jeans, flip-flops, sunglasses and a T-shirt with a "Jolly Roger" skull on it.
