OLYMPIA, Wash. (Metro) -- When it comes to on-time performance, Washington's Ferry System is apparently one of the most reliable in the world. System officials say on-time performance in this year's first quarter was just over 98 percent, up about one percent from last year. A ferry is considered on time when it sets sail within ten minutes of its scheduled departure time. Also, missed trips are down by more than half so far this year. Copyright © 2012 Metro Networks Inc.
