BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Several shops, restaurants and galleries in downtown Bellingham will be opening their doors tonight for the monthly downtown Art Walk event.
Art lovers can check out the works on display in a diversity of venues from 6 to 10 p.m.
Rob Camandona, Executive Director of the Downtown Bellingham Partnership, says the Art Walks are held the first Friday of every month.
He says each participating venue will be hanging balloons outside their door.
This month’s walk is featuring Chinese calligrapher Kathy Pak at Knight’s Martial Arts Center, as well as the “Populations” exhibit at the Whatcom Museum Lightcatcher building.
Maps to the art walk will be available at the participating venues and at the downtown visitor center on west Magnolia Street, or online at www.downtownbellingham.com.
