BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A man suspected in a drive-by shooting in Bellingham surrendered yesterday afternoon. Twenty-six-year-old Sergey Petrovich Zhuk was booked into jail on suspicion of assault in the first degree after turning himself in at around 5 p.m. - according to the Bellingham Herald. Bellingham Police were on the look-out for Zhuk after he tried to “contact an acquaintance” at a home in the 2500 block of Henry Street, early Sunday morning but was refused entry. Shortly after, residents inside the home reported hearing gunfire. Bullets hit the home, but nobody was hurt.
