BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A man suspected in a drive-by shooting in Bellingham surrendered yesterday afternoon.
Twenty-six-year-old Sergey Petrovich Zhuk was booked into jail on suspicion of assault in the first degree after turning himself in at around 5 p.m. - according to the Bellingham Herald.
Bellingham Police were on the look-out for Zhuk after he tried to “contact an acquaintance” at a home in the 2500 block of Henry Street, early Sunday morning but was refused entry.
Shortly after, residents inside the home reported hearing gunfire.
