SEATAC, Wash. (Metro) -- Shamso Yusuf says it's a miracle her seven-year-old autistic daughter is safe, after she vanished from her babysitter's home in SeaTac Wednesday.
King County Sheriff's Sergeant Patrick McCurdy tells KING 5 News Yusuf's daughter Salma disappeared from a fenced yard at the babysitter's house when the sitter went to get her a glass of water.
McCurdy says deputies were called to search for the child, who doesn't communicate and likes to hide.
An hour and a half later, a neighbor found Salma down the street and around the corner, less than a mile from her babysitter's house.
Deputies then reunited the girl with her mother.
