SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna is losing one of his campaign policy staffers.
Kathlyn Ehl resigned from her post today after two tweets she'd sent out about the elderly and Asians came to light and caused quite an uproar.
One of them said "if it takes you an entire green light to walk in front of my car GET A WHEELCHAIR." The other read "shut up and speak english -- asians."
The tweets showed up this past Monday on the website TheStranger.com.
Ehl sent the tweets out before she joined McKenna's campaign.
