MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (Metro) -- A fire that started in the back of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon late Saturday night ended up destroying 25 percent of the building.
Channel 13 said passers-by called firefighters after seeing flames coming from the church.
The fire burned the church's kitchen and sanctuary and a storage area.
Fire investigators are trying to figure out how the fire started.
