Seattle-Bound Flight Diverted After Cabin Pressure Loss

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Metro)  -- Passengers aboard an Alaska Airlines flight from Ontario, California, to Seattle are safe after the plane had to be diverted this morning.

The Boeing 737 lost cabin pressure and had electrical and flight control problems that forced the pilot to make an emergency landing at the San Jose airport.

The flight crew used a manual process to restore pressure in the plane's cabin before it landed.

No one was injured and the passengers are being flown to Seattle on another aircraft.

Alaska's Boeing 737 that experienced problems is undergoing inspection in San Jose.
