Didier Challenges Commissioner Goldmark’s Land Management

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The challenger in the race for Washington's Public Lands Commissioner is accusing the current Commissioner Peter Goldmark of mismanaging the state's forest lands.

Republican and former NFL player Clint Didier told KGMI he entered the race to stop Commissioner Goldmark because of the Commissioners support for sustainable development...

He's also blaming Goldmark for fires in our state forest lands, and says the state needs to harvest more timber in order to prevent wildfires.

Commissioner Goldmark toured areas damaged by the Taylor Bridge wildfire near Cle Elum yesterday afternoon.
