WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. -- A new pro-business group is taking root in Whatcom County.

The Whatcom Business Alliance wants to change the local business climate and create a voice for the business community.

The group offers to help promote member companies' events, as well as start a dialog with elected officials on behalf of local companies who want to grow, expand, or start-up in our area.



Tony Larson with the Alliance says the group strives to make sure that the community will serve - rather than stop - local businesses.

He says the Alliance is currently working to engage leaders of local companies to get involved.
