SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- Washington's senior U.S. senator, Patty Murray, will be among the speakers at next week's Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Details on when the Bothell Democrat will be scheduled to speak have not yet been released.
Murray has been in office since 1993 and is now the fourth highest ranking Democrat in the Senate.
Jim Sinegal, co-founder and former CEO of Costco, is the only other announced speaker from Washington state at the Democratic convention.
