SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- "Patches Pals" from all walks of life will be able to pay their respects tomorrow during a public memorial for Chris Wedes, better known as J.P. Patches.
Wedes died July 22 at age 84 after a long illness.
The memorial will be held at McCaw Hall at Seattle Center, beginning at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning.
There will be no admission charge and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis at the 2,900 seat venue, but visitors will be encouraged to make a small donation to Seattle Children's Hospital.
