SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Metro) -- As expected, Amazon.com is coming out with a new, bigger Kindle Fire tablet which it says is still smaller and less expensive than Apple's iPad.
The "Puget Sound Business Journal" says the new Kindle Fire HD will start at $299.
A smaller version will sell for 199-dollars. Amazon is also offering a new e-reader called Kindle Paperwhite.
