Local Truck Driver Injured In Crash



A Ferndale man was injured when the dump truck he was driving struck an abandoned vehicle early today.

The State Patrol says 73-year-old Robert Barrow was driving southbound on I-5 near Birch Bay Lynden Road just after midnight when his truck struck the car on the right shoulder, left the roadway and rolled onto its side.

He was transported to Peacehealth St. Joseph Medical Center.
