Two More West Nile Cases Diagnosed In Washington



OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- State health officials say there have been four cases of West Nile virus diagnosed in Washington so far this year, compared to only two in all of 2011. 

Test results conducted at the Washington State Public Health Laboratories in Shoreline show the latest confirmed case is a woman in her 50's who lives in Benton County. 

A teenage boy who's a Clark County resident contracted the disease during a trip out of state. 

Washington is one of 48 states in which West Nile virus has been reported this year.
