Gregoire Extends Burn Ban To Help Fire Containment



OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Firefighters battling wildfires in Central and Eastern Washington are making progress, and Governor Christine Gregoire has just extended the state's current burn ban to give them a boost.  

Channel 13 KCPQ says the Wenatchee Complex fire was about 45 percent contained yesterday.  

The Table Mountain Fire near Cle Elum was 55 percent contained but was still threatening some cabins and wildlife.
