Man Rescued After Falling During Mount Erie Climb

ANACORTES, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Authorities say a Whatcom County man is recovering from a leg injury after being rescued from a ledge on Mount Erie.  

Skagit County sheriff's deputies say the 39-year-old man suffered the injury when he fell about 20 feet while climbing.  

Rescue crews used a long line hoist to lift the man off the ledge and down to a boat launch below.
