State Marijuana Legalization Campaign Gets Important Help

SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- The campaign to legalize recreational marijuana here in Washington is celebrating two big boosts.

The first is the recent addition of $1 million in donations to Initiative 502.

The second is formal support from King County Sheriff Steve Strachan.

"The Seattle Times" says the new donations will buy $700 thousand worth of TV ads just before next month's election.
