Teen Gets Home Detention For Allegedly Threatening Studentss

SAMMAMISH, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A judge orders home detention and electronic monitoring for a 16-year-old Edmonds boy who's accused of making online threats of violence against students at Skyline High School in Sammamish.

King County Juvenile Court Judge Helen Halpert also ordered that the teen not be allowed to have unsupervised access to the Internet.

Skyline High was closed on September 20th after a message, saying the boy would bring a gun to the school and open fire, was posted online.

The teen, who's a former student at Skyline, is also suspected of making a similar threat against Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood last April.
