Officials Warn Of Slick Roads Coming After Long Dry Spell

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The Washington State Patrol is warning drivers that Western Washington roads are going to be unusually slick when rain returns to the area later this week after a nearly two-month absence.

Experts expect the rain to make a heavy buildup of grease and road grime extra-slippery.

They suggest sticking within speed limits.

They also say this might be a good time to prepare your car for winter.
