Larsen says he's worked closely with negotiators between the Bonneville Power Administration and Alcoa to secure the new 10-year agreement for the Ferndale plant.
He says the long-term agreement "will allow Alcoa to make significant capital investments in its facilities."
Larsen says the tentative deal also "provides job security and ensures that Intalco will remain a cornerstone of Northwest Washington’s manufacturing economy."
