Washington Apple Crop Headed For Record This Year

OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- There's word that Washington's $7 billion apple crop may set records this year as similar crops in other states languish due to unfavorable weather. 

The Washington Apple Commission tells "The Olympian" that recent warm, dry weather here has created ideal conditions for growing and picking while early frosts have crippled crops in places like Michigan and New York.
