Authorities say the woman's 18-month-old daughter, Chantel Craig, was found unresponsive Monday inside a car on the Tulalip Reservation, and died at a Seattle hospital.
The girl's two-and-a-half-year-old sister, who was also found in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The children's mother is facing charges under tribal statutes.
