"The Everett Herald" says a new group of scammers are calling Medicare recipients and telling them they need new cards.
The crooks then ask for personal information.
That's on top of others who try to get personal information based on possible cuts in, or changes to, Medicare.
Just tell them you don't answer questions over the phone unless you're calling a listed Medicare number yourself.
