PETA Calls For Investigation Of Cattle Transport Crash

SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is now involved in the recent crash of a cattle transport in Seattle.

It is asking the State Patrol to open a criminal investigation.

It says the animals in the truck were apparently deprived of veterinary care for up to six hours while crews righted their container and removed them.

It notes that troopers cited the driver for J & H Express for going to fast and failing to secure his load.

There's no word yet of any response from the State Patrol.
