BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Three flights were delayed Sunday after a person was able to get past security at Bellingham International Airport.
The unauthorized person gained access to the airfield on foot shortly after noon Sunday.
Airport manager Mark Leutwiler says the person was interviewed by police, and they determined that the individual didn't pose a threat to the airport.
He says they're still investigating exactly how the person got onto the airfield.

He says the airport will be reviewing its current security protocols over the next few weeks.
As a security precaution, airport officials cleared out the passenger terminal and had to rescreen about 300 passengers.
