Driver Injured While Fueling Her Car On Chuckanut



BURLINGTON, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A driver who ran out of gas on Chuckanut Drive was hit by a car as she was fueling her vehicle four miles north of Burlington Saturday evening. 

Troopers say 51-year-old Cheryce Cafourek-Tetzlaff was stopped in the lane of travel with lights on but no hazard lights. 

She was outside of her vehicle putting gas in it when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla. 

She was injured and taken to Skagit Valley Hospital.
