After the state got out of the retail liquor business earlier this year, it was left with tens of thousands of bottles of unsold booze, ranging from mini-bottles found at airports to high value products.
Officials say 15 thousand cases, or at least 90 thousand bottles, will be up for bids from spirits retailers.
Those who show up to bid at the Seattle auction will be required to present a $5,000 cashier's check in order to participate.
