OLYMPIA, Wash. (Metro) -- As of late last night, Democrats were keeping their jobs as heads of several Washington state agencies.

Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler was beating Republican John Adams with 56 percent of the vote.

Jim McIntire was leading Republican challenger Sharon Hanek with a 58 percent tally.

Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn ran unopposed after getting 56 percent of the vote in the primary.
