Blaine residents Robynne Sapp and Dotti Berry, founders of www.standupspeakout.com, say they're now planning to get married in Washington.
Sapp says the arguments used against same-sex marriage are similar to the arguments used against interracial marriage back in the 60s.
The campaign against gay marriage, "Preserve Marriage Washington," yesterday conceded that Referendum 74 will be narrowly approved.
Chairman Joseph Backholm says the group is "disappointed in losing a tough election battle on marriage.”
He says Washington is "deep blue" state and one of the most secular states in the country, and yet gay marriage activists were barely able to win.
