BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A Bellingham man faces charges in a hit and run on Northwest Drive north of Bellingham.
The State Patrol says 56-year-old Steven Fisher of Bellingham was driving drunk near Pickett Road at about 4 p.m. yesterday when he struck a woman who was walking across the road.
He left the scene and was later stopped on East Axton Road.
The woman, 49-year-old Kari Rafferty of Bellingham, was injured and transported to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center.
