BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Whatcom County movie goers are turning out in droves to Bellingham’s brand new theater complex.

Regal Entertainment Group spokeswoman Rachel Lueras says over 7,000 people visited the Regal Barkley Village Stadium 16 Imax and RPX on its first day alone..



The theater’s special preview event with two dollar movies wraps up today.

The Barkley Boulevard facility kicks off normal operation at midnight Thursday with the opening of “The Hobbit.”
