BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- As part of their meeting next Tuesday, port of Bellingham commissioners will consider a proposal for the port to purchase the Bayview Center, a 36 thousand square foot office building currently owned by Bellwether Harbor Investments, for 4.1 million dollars. 

Port Executive Director Rob Fix says the Port intends to buy the property with proceeds from the sale of former land investments in order to ensure an ongoing source of revenue.

The port currently owns the “Bellwether Building” also located at the same site.
