OLYMPIA, Wash. (Metro) -- An analysis of the current struggle for control of the Washington State Senate is being compared to a similar situation in 1963.
"The Olympian" says Senator and then, soon to be Governor Dan Evans was part of that 1963 Republican Senate takeover.
The newspaper says there was chaos at first, but Evans says the current deal between minority Republicans and two conservative Democrats could have good bipartisan results.
