Spanaway Man Identified Among Those Killed In Bus Crash

PENDLETON, Ore.  (Metro)  -- A man from Spanaway is identified as being among the nine people killed aboard a charter bus that crashed Sunday near Pendleton, Ore.

Officials say 57-year-old Dale Osborn was returning from a vacation when the bus crashed through a guard rail on Interstate 84 and slid down a snowy, 200 foot embankment.

Osborn's wife was injured in the crash and is being hospitalized.

Authorities say several Seattle area residents were among the 39 people injured in the crash.
