Prosecutor Challenges Ruling In Carnation Death-Penalty Case

Seattle, Wash. (Metro) -- King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg tells "The Seattle Times" he will challenge a judge's ruling that he can't seek the death penalty for the two defendants in the 2007 Christmas Eve killings in Carnation.

King County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ramsdell says Satterberg shouldn't have considered the strength of the state's evidence in deciding to seek the death penalty against Michele Anderson and her boyfriend, Joseph McEnroe.

Both are charged with six counts of aggravated first-degree murder in the case.
