Former Mayor Dan Pike says that when it comes to the Waterfront Redevelopment Plan, the City got a bad deal under Linville’s leadership.
In an interview with KGMI’s “PM Bellingham,” Linville addresses those concerns.
She says while the redevelopment plan draft has changed since her predecessor was in office, it does takes into consideration residents’ concerns.
Linville says she has lived in Bellingham for 64 years and would never accept a raw deal for its citizens.
She also says the current plan draft takes into account existing public commentary as well as recommendations from waterfront advisory and historic preservation groups, and from the Transportation and Parks Commission.
