Oregon Governor, Seattle Mayor Now Formally Opposing Coal Trains

Seattle, Wash.  (Metro)  -- There may be less of a chance that more coal trains may soon be rolling through Washington and Oregon. 

Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber are formally opposing plans to set up coal export terminals near Bellingham and in Longview and run as many as 36 coal trains a day through the region. 

"Seattlepi.com" says McGinn and Kitzhaber are mostly worried about the environment.
