Some Fred Meyer, QFC Bakery Items Recalled

Clackamas, Ore.  (Metro)  -- A recall is issued for certain bakery items sold at Fred Meyer and QFC stores in Washington and Oregon.

A Fred Meyer spokeswoman says a bakery in Clackamas, Oregon issued the recall because some of the baked goods may contain pieces of plastic.

Officials say all affected product was pulled from the shelves after the problem was discovered at the bakery, and there have been no reports of problems from customers.

The recalled products include wheat bread and "Tender Twist" bread with the Kroger, Fred Meyer, and QFC brand names that were delivered to the stores between February 22nd and February 25th.
