Boeing Commercial Airplanes President Confident About 787 Battery Fix

Seattle, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The top man at Boeing Commercial Airplanes says he's confident about the proposed fix for fire-prone 787 lithium-ion batteries. 

According to the "Puget Sound Business Journal," Ray Conner made that clear at the JPMorgan Aviation and Defense Conference Monday in New York. 

The Federal Aviation Administration is now studying a plan to better contain and ventilate the batteries and spread out their cells.
