Olympia, Wash. (Metro) -- After going over the numbers, state budget experts say the automatic federal funding cuts being phased in could cost Washington almost $83 million over the next seven months.
They also say the people hurt will be those least able to afford it.
Meanwhile, "The Olympian" quotes House Majority Leader Pat Sullivan as saying that number could grow to $500 million over the next two years.
