Olympia, Wash. (Metro) -- A bill that would regulate the use of drone aircraft by public agencies in Washington is dead for the current legislative session.
House Democratic leadership spokesperson Melinda McCrady says a more comprehensive study of surveillance issues associated with the bill will be conducted this summer.
The bill would have required agencies to get approval from the Legislature or local governments before buying or using drones.
