VANCOUVER, B.C. -- More details have been released on the murder case with ties to Whatcom County involving a reality TV contestant and a former model.

Police have reported that a car found in West Hollywood belonged to ex-model Jasmine Fiore, who they suspect was killed by former wealthy reality show contestant Ryan Jenkins.

Police received an anonymous tip and discovered the white Mercedes-Benz belonging to Jasmine Fiore in a parking lot.

A witness told police the car had been there since the day of the killing.

Jenkins was found hanging from a clothes rack in a hotel room in Hope, B.C., on Sunday.

Police say it's not clear if he left a suicide note behind.

Meanwhile, Mounties have been in contact with Jenkins' younger half-sister, who lives in Vancouver, to find out what she knows about how he may have traveled from the U.S. to Canada.

They’ve asked Alena Jenkins about how he ended up getting from Point Roberts to Hope.

Investigators believe Jenkins took a boat from Blaine to Point Roberts.
