BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- People interested in the size of the areas where growth is allowed to occur around cities in Whatcom County can testify in front of the County Council this morning, Tuesday, November 3rd.
The council is accepting public input on urban growth areas at 9 a.m. at the Whatcom County Courthouse.
Council members plan to accept 1½ hours of public testimony before beginning deliberations on proposed changes that would shrink the County's Urban Growth Areas.
The State Growth Management Hearings Board has ordered the county to have this UGA update finished by next month.
